What is Buzzing Hands Across Literacy? Read-a-Thon

Buzzing Hands Across Literacy Read-a-Thon is an exciting challenge where participants set reading goals and seek sponsorship from friends, family, and community members to support their reading efforts. Whether you’re a bookworm or a casual reader, everyone is welcome to join in the fun and read the books you love!

How Does It Work?

Set Your Reading Goal: Choose the number of pages, chapters, or books you aim to read during the Read-a-Thon.

Gather Sponsors:

Reach out to your network and ask them to sponsor your reading journey. Each pledge supports continues to promote and achieve literacy excellence for our youngsters, we need to raise funds to help defray some of the costs for participants, including registration fees, travels, accommodations, trophies and award packages.

Start Reading:

On the day of the event, dive into your favourite books and start reading!

Pop into your local library to have your reading log signed and get great recommendations for your next read. Keep track of your reading accomplishments and share updates with your sponsors.
